Canada in the Cold War

During the Cold War, Canada participated in a few different alliance groups.  The first group they joined was NATO.  NATO was a group of 13 countries that joined together with the agreement that if a country outside of their group attacked any one of them, the other 12 would support the victim and fight the aggressor.  They were most worried about Russia attacking one of them.
