Silent Films

These films were shown in public movie theaters, and said movie theaters being groundbreaking for its time. This has helped shaped Canada as it is today by letting more Canadians star in more of the old silent films than in the more modern day ones.

      Brock, what made them funny? Was the intention to be comedic, or are they funny now because they are so old fashioned? Please exapand your comments.

    I think it also shaped Canada in the way Canada relied on America entertainment for a large part. Even then, Canadian stars went to the states to become famous and star in movies.
    I think you could expand this a little more.
