Fresh Fish Propaganda

This poster is talking about in WW1 how they need meat for the Canadian soldiers so if you weren't in the war you would go to the butcher and all they would have to offer were fish because all the meat is going to the Canadian solders. Meat gives the soldiers gave them the most energy. It was also very easy to cook. This picture is telling you to give all your meat the the Canadian army and you have to eat fish instead.

    I like the poster you chose. It is important to note though that the rationing of meat was voluntary - you could buy meat, they just wanted you not to so that there would be more meat to send to the soldiers.
